Midnight Council

Eight characters. One continuous 30-second shot. Nothing was filmed.

The camera comes through a stained-glass window, circles the table while each character speaks, and rises overhead for the toast — one unbroken take. Nobody was on set.

The same shot works for a dinner table, a boardroom, a family reunion — anywhere you need everyone in frame at once.

How it was made

Nine reference stills went in — one look photo per character, plus one of the empty hall. Everything else came from a single shot prompt.

Nine reference stills went in; one 30-second single take came out.

Doing this yourself

  1. Open any shot in a storyboard and set the video model to Seedance 2.5.
  2. Set the shot to 30 seconds and @-mention the characters you want in frame — up to eight.
  3. Make sure each of them has a look photo, then generate.

A 30-second take at 720p costs 2,040 credits. Seedance 2.5 runs up to 720p — for 1080p or 4K, stay on the Seedance 2.0 models. Storyboards that were cut for 15-second clips will not use the full 30 seconds; the app tells you which cutting profile a project is on.
